Does Tiger Wag accept pit bulls?
Absolutely!!! We pride ourselves in being non-discriminatory towards dog breeds.
Does Tiger Wag accept aggressive dogs?
We DO NOT accept aggressive dogs!!! Since the Tiger Wag operation is run out of our home, we do not have the capacity to keep aggressive dogs separate from the pack. If you are concerned about how your pet will do in a group setting, we highly recommend booking a meet and greet prior to your pet’s stay. For longer boarding reservations, we recommend booking a daycare appointment or an overnight stay to ensure your dog is a good fit. Please see our policy below regarding the consequences of booking with an aggressive dog.
What happens if my dog is involved in a dog fight?
We are extremely passionate about fostering a safe environment for our staff and our guests! Therefore, we have a strict ONE STRIKE policy in that if your pet is found to be the initiator/aggressor in a dog fight at our resort, they will no longer be allowed to return. If your dog is found to be the aggressor in a dog fight or bites a human…
- We will ask you and/or your emergency contact to collect your pet within 24 hours.
- If you cannot collect your pet within 24 hours, there we will be an additional $25 fee/night from the start of the incident until your pet can be retrieved.
- If the victim(s) require medical or veterinary attention, you are responsible for covering all expenses caused as a result of the aggression.
- We reserve the right to refuse service for future bookings (see ONE STRIKE POLICY above).
YOUR RESERVATION
What happens after I complete the booking request form?
Once you submit a booking request, a Tiger Wag representative will provide an invoice to you via email from Wave Invoicing within 24-48 hours. If we cannot accommodate your pet during the dates/times you requested, we will contact you via email or text message (if applicable) as soon as possible.
Can I make changes to my reservation after submitting the booking request?
If you would like to modify your reservation, please notify us as soon as possible! Otherwise, you may be subject to the modification fees as outlined below. Please view our full policy here.
- You may modify any part of your reservation up to 72 hours in advance of the check-in time listed on the invoice without penalty.
- If you must remove services from your reservation less than 72 hours in advance of the check-in time listed on your invoice, you will be charged a penalty of 50% of the cost of the service to be removed.
- Services may NOT be removed from a reservation after the check-in time listed on your invoice above has been reached. You will be charged for the full cost of those services regardless if they were rendered or not.
- Services may be added to an invoice at any time per your request or per our discretion.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you would like to cancel your reservation, please notify us as soon as possible! Otherwise, you may be subject to the cancellation fees as outlined below. Please view our full policy here.
- In order to cancel without a penalty, you must notify us at least 72 hours in advance of the check-in time listed on your invoice.
- If you must cancel less than 72 hours in advance of the check-in time listed on your invoice, you will be charged a penalty of 50% of the total cost listed on said invoice.
- If you must cancel after the check-in time listed on your invoice, you will be charged for the full cost of services listed on said invoice regardless if those services were rendered or not.

What vaccinations are required?
Please see our vaccine requirements below. We also HIGHLY recommend your pet be on year-round parasite prevention (flea, tick, heartworm, etc.).
- Rabies Vaccine
- Bordetella (a.k.a. Canine Kennel Cough) Vaccine
- DAPP (a.k.a. DHPP) Vaccine
What time(s) can I choose for check-in/check-out?
In the booking request form, you may select any check-in/check-out time from 7 am-10 pm. However, we may work with you to alter those times to accommodate the sitter’s schedule or the other guests that may be coming or going at that time.
What should I bring for my dog’s stay?
We recommend bringing the following items if they apply to you! If you forget something, no worries! We have extra leashes, food, bowls, beds, and toys.
- Your pet’s leash
- Your pet’s food bowl
- Your pet’s food with the scoop (if you regularly use one)
- Your pet’s preferred bed (if they have one)
- Your pet’s crate (if they regularly use one)
We do not recommend bringing the following.
- Please do not bring toys! We cannot guarantee that they will return whole.
- Please do not bring bones! Bones tend to cause arguments between the pups.
AFTER CHECK-IN
Does Tiger Wag provide updates on how my pup is doing?
Absolutely!!! We try to keep our customers updated as much as possible about their pup’s stay with pictures and videos. If an emergency occurs, you will be notified as soon as possible.
Can I alter my pup’s check-out time after I have checked-in?
Of course! We understand that plans can change frequently while traveling! We allow paying after check-out for this reason. Once you know your new schedule, please let us know as soon as possible, so we can update our calendar and your invoice accordingly.
- If you need to check-out earlier than anticipated, please note that a modification penalty may apply as per our our modification policy defined above.
- If you need to check-out later than anticipated, please note that a late check-out fee may apply for each pet on the booking request if the end time on the final day of the stay is more than 2 hours later than the start time on the first day of the stay.
